Kia, the Korean car manufacturer an automobile giant has revealed its new Kia K2 crossover in china this week. Moreover, this model has almost similar features compared to existing Kia Rio, and also it has been found that K2 crossover will be sold as part of the local B-segment.
In 2011, the Russian model Rio was initially sold in the automobile market from that the Chinese version of the model Kia K2 was inspired. Actually, the K2 is appeared to be the first model which has same features as Kia Rio.
As stated in Auto Week, last year model Kia Rio was not so comfortable for driving during hot weather and thereafter Korean automaker had developed the latest Kia K2 model. In this model, they had improved with its body kits such as making it 1.75 meters wide and 1.50 meters high that made a comfortable car for passengers during hot sun.
Apparently, the Kia K2 was marked in china and it is a modified version of Rio. This model has been developed after the Rio consumers claimed that the vehicle is to be less comfortable while driving under the sizzling sun.
The Kia K2 has a 1.4-Liter engine is capable of giving 100 horsepower and 1.6-Liter engine is capable of giving 123 horsepower with a Six-speed automatic manual transmission. Moreover, it is a 5-seater car with the rear bumper, shotgun exhaust system, and improved powerful turbo engine, as per Naza Kia.
Other comfort features in Kia K2 has a keyless entry remote control folding key and a glove box that has illumination. In terms of safety, K2 has electronic stability control, 6 airbags system that protects at the time of a collision, and rear parking sensor and it is available at a starting price of RM 75,888.
