Jeremy Lin Introduces New Crazy Haircut While Recovering From Hamstring Injury

Jeremy Lin has only played in 12 games for the Brooklyn Nets this season due to recurring problems with his right hamstring. He might miss more games but his hair game is still on point after introducing a new crazy hairstyle.

The 28-year-old point guard called his new haircut as a secret project and he unveiled it to the world via Instagram on Friday. The new look is not original but it's bizarre and crazy at the same time since it was inspired by Jimmy Neutron.

Secret Project lollll. Didnt think itd be possible to do this ha #afrolife #jimmyneutron

Many fans are calling the "Jeremy Neutron" haircut but it's still unknown if Lin will use it during an NBA game this season. The Harvard product is famous for his different hairstyles last season when he played for the Charlotte Hornets.

According to GQ Magazine, the most notable hairstyle Lin used last season was the Comb-Over. He rocked it from January to March and the Hornets went 15-1. He also used other hairstyles like the Slicked-Back, Headband, Man Bun, Mohawk, Bowl Cut, Ponytail and Double Ponytail.

The crazy hairstyles have become a staple for the point guard and he brought it to the Nets this offseason. When he signed a three-year, $36 million last summer, he was rocking a braid-like haircut during his press conference.

However, the most important thing for the Nets is not Lin's new crazy hairstyle but his health. He was poised for a breakout season but he suffered a hamstring injury five games into his first season in Brooklyn.

Lin missed a month and returned to play an additional seven games before re-injuring the hamstring on Dec. 26, 2017 against the Hornets. He was ruled out for four weeks before re-aggravating the injury during his rehabilitation.

According to Nets Daily, Lin is scheduled to return on Feb. 24 against the Denver Nuggets. However, fans should not expect too much from him since he will be under minutes restriction.
