Tiger Woods Becoming an Enigma to Jack Nicklaus

With the Tiger seemingly going to a lot of confusing episodes as of late, no less than golf's greatest player has said that the man who is supposed to break his record is fast becoming a riddle of some sorts to many.

Renowned golfer Tiger Woods has opened 2017 with some disastrous performances. After being cut during the Torrey Pines event, he heads off to Dubai only to pullout due to back problems.

He again withdraws at the Riviera during the Genesis Open which his foundation hosted. The same thing has happened just recently during the Honda Classic.

While it is mind-blogging to understand how the once dominant golfer in the world can simply falter at all fronts, even the legendary icon in the field is also puzzled by the turn of events that has somewhat consumed Tiger Woods.

Back in 1996 during the Masters tournament, Jack Nicklaus has viewed the young golf prodigy as the next big thing. In fact, he has already presumed that Woods will win at least ten green jackets.

However, what the man dubbed as the Golden Bear has visualized decades ago is a complete turnaround to what he shared with the media just recently. Nicklaus says that a number of up and coming golfers has a big chance of winning the majors considering that Tiger is on a decline. The iconic figure adds that he is clueless where the focus of Tiger Woods is at the moment.

Nicklaus further states that it is pointless to inquire about Woods's health considering that the same answers during his past interviews will crop up. This view has been supported by the remarks of Tiger's agent Mark Steinberg who relayed identical responses to questions about the golfer's health status.

Tiger Woods is actually on pace to surpass the 18 major wins of Jack Nicklaus. However, the Florida-based player has only 14 victories to show. It is quite unbelievable to know that his last triumph came during the 2008 US Open.
