PREDATORS vs RED WINGS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from Joe Louis Arena, Detroit

Tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET, the Nashville Predators (9-9-2, 20 points) and the Detroit Red Wings (9-5-7, 27 points) square off live from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit in the first of two head-to-head meetings this season. The game can be live streamed here. Nashville fans can hear all of the action live on 1025 The Game while Detroit fans can do the same on 97.1 The Ticket.

Detroit is within three points of the Tampa Bay Lightning for first place in the Atlantic Division, but the team has lost seven-straight games at home this season.

"It's been tough here for us but it's not like something's miraculously going to happen for us to get out of this," Wings goalie Jimmy Howard said via NHL.com. "It's going to take hard work and the right attitude."

Howard is 5-5-6 with a 2.68 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage for Detroit this season. In between the pipes for Nashville, Carter Hutton has filled in for the injured Pekka Rinne (hip), who is out until late December, and Hutton has compiled a 4-3-1 record with a 3.39 GAA and a .891 save percentage.

The Predators offense had been struggling coming off of a four-game losing streak when they exploded for a 7-2 victory over the Central Division-leading Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday.

"Yes, it felt great," center Craig Smith said following the win Saturday, according to NHL.com. "It's been a long time. It's been a tough couple of games. I thought we did a great job sticking with it."

Smith is third on the team in scoring with 11 points off of four goals and seven assists. He trails David Legwand, who leads the team with 17 points off of four tallies and 13 helpers, and Patric Hornqvist (6-7-13) for the team lead in scoring.

Detroit has been paced by Henrik Zetterberg, who has 23 points off of 10 goals and 13 assists, while Pavel Datsyuk is right behind him having lit the lamp 11 times while adding 11 helpers for 22 points. Datsyuk has four goals in his last three games.

The Predators hope to keep their offense going after a surprising scoring outburst on Saturday while the Red Wings will look to avoid suffering yet another home loss when these teams hit the ice tonight at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.
