NBA News: Reason Why Jeremy Lin Rocked The Jimmy Neutron Hairstyle Revealed

Jeremy Lin is known for many of his hairstyles last season with the Charlotte Hornets and he brought it with him in his first year in Brooklyn. One of the hairstyles he introduced this season was inspired by cartoon character Jimmy Neutron.

The 28-year-old Nets point guard rocked his "Jeremy Neutron" haircut last February 17 on Instagram. He told his fans that it was for a secret project and he has not revealed what it is just yet. That is until now as images of him with the hairstyle surfaced online.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Jeremy Lin is set to appear on the special 1980s-themed episode of ABC's "Fresh Off The Boat" and he can be seen with the haircut. He will guest star on next week's episode titled "The Flush" along with comedians Ali Wong and Sheng Wang, as well as "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." star and Ming-Na Wen.

The show is set in the 1990s but next week's episode will feature Louis' life back in college. Here's a part of the episode's description: "When Eddie has an adverse reaction to alcohol, also known as the Asian Flush, Louis reassures his eldest son that the discomfort will pass and reminisces about his college drinking days."

It should be noted that Jeremy Lin already appeared on "Fresh Off The Boat" back in 2015 in the episode titled "The Fall Ball" where he played Louis' factory co-worker in the company that makes the thing that keeps the pizza box from touching the cheese. "The Flush" will air on Tuesday, March 14 on the ABC Network at 9:00 p.m. ET.

On the other hand, Jeremy Lin is on a roll since coming back from a hamstring injury after the All-Star break. He helped the Brooklyn Nets end their 16-game losing skid two weeks ago while also exploding for 18 points in their last game.

Jeremy Lin and Sean Kilpatrick led the Nets on Monday night to defeat the Memphis Grizzlies, per NBA.com. Lin and the Nets visit the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday as part of their eight-game road trip that culminates on Friday.
