Apple iPad fans are very excited about iPad Pro 2 release. Latest rumor indicates that Apple will launch new iPads in March.
According to BGR, Apple has plans to release three brand new iPad models in 2017 that includes a refreshed 9.7-inch iPad, 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 and a completely new 10.5-inch iPad. This 10.5-inch iPad will feature an edgeless display.
As written in AppleInsider, Apple could be preparing to announce or launch new iPads on April 4. Though it is unlikely to hold a launch event at Apple Park's Steve Jobs Theatre as rumored by Apple World Today. Apple iPad Pro 2 might be on sale on the same day after an announcement.
Apple CEO Tim Cook announced at the last event at Infinite Loop that it would be the last event at the current Apple headquarters. Apple Park is scheduled to open in April so there is a possibility of announcing new iPad Pro 2 in an opening event.
All new iPads will feature new A10X processors and a stationary home button introduced in iPhone 7. After the release of Touch Bar in MacBook Pro, Apple might release it in iPad Pro 2 as well. A similar feature is rumored to be in iPhone 8 as well.
New iPad Pro 2 will feature a dual camera. There will be a three storage options, 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB and RAM will be 4 GB/6 GB. Apple might introduce Apple Pencil 2 with better battery life and connectivity. Latest Apple Pencil will feature a magnetic stripe.
Fans are expecting iPad Pro 2 to have wireless charging feature. Users will be able to use Smart Keyboard. Some reports also suggest that there will be a new 'wine' color option available.
Latest iPad Pro 2 will be thinner and lighter than the previous model. It will be water resistant and it will not have 3.5mm audio jack.
