Allen Iverson Prediction: Kobe Bryant Has 'Killer Within Him' Will Return Los Angeles Lakers Lineup Strong [VIDEO]

Allen Iverson predicts Kobe Bryant will be every bit his same old self when he returns to game action for the Los Angeles Lakers from offseason Achilles surgery.

"If he can't kill, he's not going to do it," Iverson told BleacherReport.com. "You don't have to worry about Kobe Bryant. I mean, that killer is in him regardless. If he had to go out there and play in a wheelchair, he'd be the best player in a wheelchair you've ever seen. So you don't have to worry about Kobe. If he's out there, then he's ready to be out there and he's going to be Kobe Bryant."

Bryant and Iverson had several epic battles over the course of their illustrious careers, including a 2000-01 Finals battle where Bryant's Lakers prevailed over Iverson's Sixers 4-1. An 11-time All-Star and two time All-Star Game MVP, Iverson recently announced his retirement after 15 NBA seasons. The top overall pick in the 1996 draft, Iverson was also a four-time scoring champ and was named league MVP in the 2000-01 season.

The man celebrated throughout his career as "The Answer," doesn't quite yet see the end for Bryant.

"Hell, yeah," said Iverson when asked if Bryant will still be among the league's best. "He gonna be Kobe."
