Xiaomi Mi6 Leaked Render Shows Dual Camera Setup, No Headphone Jack & Three Variants

Xiaomi Mi6 is one of the most anticipated devices coming this year. Currently new leaked render is pointing to Xiaomi Mi6. This time the renders have revealed that the upcoming Chinese smartphone would boast a dual camera setup.

The leaked image has depicted the smartphone in a black glossy color from front to back with curved edges similarity of Mi Note 2. Moreover, there is a dual-camera set up at the back part of the smartphone. At the front, a visible Home Button is shown embedded the bottom part of the phone. The image was posted on Weibo and spotted by Playful Droid.

The upcoming Xiaomi Mi6 is said to come in three variants. First will be a standard model, which is expected to sport a dual curved display. Second variant will be said to equip with Snapdragon 821 SoC. This was the alleged solution of the company for the recent dilemma with the shortage in the processors. However the third variant, which is the premium variant, will be launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

The Xiaomi Mi6 would reportedly have a Quad HD 2K OLED display and come with dual curved edges. The standard variant is anticipated to feature 6GB of RAM and 256GB device storage. It would also have a dual-camera set up at the back as shown in the render. Wccftech claims that Mi6 will not be having a headphone jack either.

The other variant with Snapdragon 821 would have a 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal capacity. It is also rumored to have a 4,000mAh battery as reported by GSM Arena.

The standard Xiaomi Mi6 variant is said to be released on April 16. The lower specs variant that is expected to release with a Snapdragon 821 processor is rumored to be released earlier than the standard flagship model. However, the premium variant will be released with a Snapdragon 835 processor in the month of May.
