The OnePlus 5 is said to arrive in coming months with high-end hardware at a reasonable price. If latest reports are to be believed the Flagship Killer will be coming with an all-new glass design and IP68 rating in a new matte black color variant, just like OnePlus 3T Colette edition.
The OnePlus 5 will reportedly feature a ceramic build as the Xiaomi Mi Mix, according to Gizbot. The website also reported that the OnePlus might come in an all-glass design which will give OnePlus 5 a more premium look.
OnePlus 5 is also reportedly coming with an IP68 rating that will make the phone water and dust resistant. In fact, the OnePlus 3T has lacked this feature, but upcoming flagship is expected to sport it.
OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3 were two of the best smartphones in 2016. Furthermore, the huge success that the newer OnePlus 3T brought to the company has led to the launch of a new and limited edition version dubbed as OnePlus 3T Colette Edition. According to Nashville Chatter Class, it is speculated that the new matte Black color variant of the Colette Edition could just be coming with OnePlus 5.
The imminent OnePlus 5 is said to feature a 5.5-inch dual-curved edge AMOLED display with an FHD 1080p display resolution. The smartphone also said to pack a 6GB of RAM and 64GB in-built storage. On the camera front, the smartphone will be boasting a 25MP rear camera, while it will sport a 12MP snapper for selfies, as reported by Droid Report.
Moreover, the OnePlus 5 is expected to come featuring a glass and aluminum body and a USB-Type C connector. This will be good news for the OnePlus fans since this feature was absent in its 3T phone.
Flagship killer will be featuring 4000mAh of battery with Dash Charge support. On the software side, Android 7.1 Nougat is expected to run on the OnePlus 5 out of the box.
