While quarterback Jameis Winston is still the subject of an investigation for sexual assault, FSU is only focusing on football heading into the matchup with coach Jimbo Fisher only looking to address football questions this week while addressing everything with his players.

"You always address everything," Fisher said per ESPN. "Kids know what's going on no matter what the situations are. That's an important part of being a good team is being able to focus and control things that you can control. And deal with the other issues when it's time to deal with them."

Winston is expected to start barring any further developments in the case, and led the team to a dominating 59-3 victory over Syracuse last week.

"Jameis has done a very nice job all season of not being a redshirt freshman as far as his mental approach to playing," Fisher told ESPN.

On the season, Winston is 185-for-261 (70.9%) for 2,943 yards with 28 touchdowns and seven interceptions and has rushed for 155 yards on 158 carries to go along with three scores.

Winston, 19, is the center of a sexual assault investigation which the victim reported allegedly stems from Dec. 7, 2012 and took place in a dorm room. If Winston is eventually found guilty and suspended, it could knock him out of the Heisman Trophy vote as well as take FSU out of the polls in the BCS standings.

Tim Jansen, Winston's lawyer, said that he gave officials two written affidavits from eye witnesses that "completely exonerate my client," according to ESPN.

Amid the claims, Florida State issued a statement that said, "there is no change in Jameis Winston's status," per ESPN.

Idaho, meanwhile, comes in allowing 59 points in two of their last three games, giving them quite the challenge going up against one of the toughest teams in the country as Winston has led his team to back-to-back 59-3 wins. Idaho's latest loss came in a 59-38 defeat at the hands of Old Dominion on Nov. 9

FSU will look to put the off the field controversy behind it when it takes the field against Idaho this afternoon.
