The 2018 Ford Edge gets a big attention with its special addition appearance package for the SEL trim. At the 2017 Dallas-Fort Worth Auto Show, the 2018 Ford Edge SEL Sports Appearance Package gives interior and exterior sportier look. It has interestingly had cloth interior too.
As wrote in Motor Trend, the 2018 Ford Edge cloth seats are more comfortable than its recent features. The new polished look creates unique passengers experience by featuring Gray Fabric seat covering. While choosing a Sports Appearance package will also give customers a lot of features including a panoramic sunroof, the Sync 3 infotainment system, black roof rails, and a power lift gate.
As per Car and Driver, the 2018 Ford Edge offers a standard 2.0 liter Eco Boost that produces 254 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque. The optional engine is a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 280 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque. The front- wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive models both are available. Also, both of them mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Moreover, In 2018 Ford Edge, technology goodies also include the apple Car play and Android Auto capability, a premium audio system. With it's a rear camera and a reverse sensing system makes customers feel pretty great.
In one of the Interviews of Ford Edge, brand marketing manager Says SEL Sports Appearance Package on 2018 Ford Edge is an opportunity to provide customers with a vehicle that meets their high expectations while giving them more choice. They also said about design and feature combinations that they're giving the look and the technology in affordable price.
