Philadelphia 76ers' Rookie Ben Simmons, Who Hasn't Played All Season With Broken Foot, Throws Down Impressive Dunk [VIDEO]

Last year’s first overall pick in the NBA Draft, Ben Simmons, did not play the entirety of this season, after being shut down by the Philadelphia 76ers last month due to complications in his surgically repaired right foot. But on Sunday, Simmons have proof that his injury isn’t all that bad, throwing down a dunk during warmups of the Sixers’ game against the Indiana Pacers.

Ben Simmons did a “LeBron” – putting the ball through his legs, off the backboard before throwing it down with his right hand. As noted by Ball Don’t Lie, Simmons’ display came several days after Philadelphia 76ers coach Brett Brown said that he was encouraged by the rookie’s recovery, adding that he is optimistic about the chances of Simmons playing on opening night next season. In recent weeks, Ben Simmons has been traveling with the team.
