Previously a leaked image had surfaced which revealed the full specifications of upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6 and Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus. Not long ago live image of Xiaomi Mi 6 plus has also surfaced, wherein dual cameras were visible beside the LED flash on the rear side. This is in correlation with the dual rear cameras which claimed in design sketches as reported earlier.
Recently, there have been lots of leaks and rumors about the new Xiaomi Mi6 that has lead many fans to conclude that the smartphone will probably launch at any moment. Last week, a press render had revealed the alleged gloss black variant of the new smartphone.
In the meantime, it is also said that the upcoming device will sport a Quad HD 2K OLED display with a 6GB RAM. As reported by iGeekphone, it has already been confirmed that the new Xaiomi Mi6 might be the first device to be powered by the Snapdragon 835 2.45GHz processor in China.
However, fresh leaks reported by Slash Leaks have now revealed some very interesting specs and features about the Xiaomi Mi6 and Xiaomi Mi6 Plus., The Mi6 will run on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 and the Mi6 plus will run on MIUI 8 based Android 7.0. Moreover, both devices will support GSM, TD-LTE, WCDMS, and LTE-FDD network.
The leak also claims that the Xiaomi Mi6 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 2.45 GHz quad-cores as well as Adreno 540 GPU. The standard Xiaomi Mi6 unit will sport 4 GB RAM (expandable to 6 GB LPDDR4), however the Mi6 plus will sport 6GB LPDDR4. The Xiaomi Mi6 will have 32 GB + 64 GB + 128 GB UFS 2.0, while the Xiaomi Mi6 plus will be shipped with 64 GB + 128 GB UFS 2.0.
It is also reported that the Mi6 plus will be equipped with 4500 mAh Li-Po battery, while the Mi6 will be equipped with 3200 mAh battery. Both devices also rumored to feature a 5.15-inch and 5.7-inch full HD display with 1920 X 1080 resolutions respectively.
Both Xiaomi Mi 6 and Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus are tipped to be unveiled in April, owing to snapdragon 835 SoC. From the earlier reports, Xiaomi Mi 6 is said to be priced 1999 Yuan, while Mi6 plus will come with a price tag of 2499 Yuan.
