Hollywood actress Sanna Lathan admits Colin Kaepernick is a "cutie pie" but denies the two have ever dated, according to Essence Magazine.
The San Francisco 49ers star quarterback and The Best Man Holiday star were romantically linked after they posed for a picture together in September that was later posted on her Instrgram page.
"That night I was at a dinner and I took a picture with him," she told Essence. "And he's a cutie pie. All of a sudden the rumors are out there. No, it's not happening with Colin Kaepernick."
Fueling rumors all the more is Kaepernick's former 49ers teammate Nnamdi Asomugha is married to fellow Hollywood A-lister and Lathan galpal Kerry Washington. Asomugha, who was recently waived by San Francisco, and the Scandal TV star are now expecting their first child together.
Meanwhile, Kaepernick is also rumored to be romantically involved with hip hop star Teyana Taylor.
On the field, Kaepernick has experienced somewhat of a sophomore slump for the Niners, composing just an 81.8 passer rating and throwing seven interceptions. Kaepernick has also suffered through five games where he has passed for just 150 yards or less and has just four multiple touchdown passing games.
