Kevin Garnett: Brooklyn Nets 'Embarrassed' By Dreadful 3-10 Start; Deron Williams, Brook Lopez Still Injured [VIDEO]

Kevin Garnett admits he and his Brooklyn Nets teammates are embarrassed by the team's 3-10 start and current five game losing streak.

After Sunday night's blowout home loss to the Detroit Pistons, Garnett told ESPN "I think everybody here is embarrassed," after he shot just 2-for-9 from the field in 23 minutes and is now shooting 34.9 percent from the field this season. "You definitely don't want to be booed at home. Like I've been saying, we're going to continue to work to try to change this as best we can."

ESPN reports rookie coach Jason Kidd still has the backing of management, but the bubbling levels of frustration among players is clearly still rising.

"We got to understand teams aren't going to play the same way they did in the first half as they did in the second half because teams make adjustments, especially when they are down," veteran forward Paul Pierce told ESPN. "And we got to realize that and adjust with that."

The Nets cause isn't helped by having All-Stars Deron Williams and Brook Lopez sidelined with lingering injuries. No timetable is known for either player's return, after Williams suffered a setback last week when he retweaked his ankle during a failed comeback attempt.
