Tom Brady of the New England Patriots already holds several NFL records including the most Super Bowl titles by a quarterback with five. However, he could break several NFL records if he plays for six more seasons.

According to John Breech of CBS Sports, Tom Brady could end up as the NFL all-time leader in almost every major passing category when retires. He is still playing at a high level and he has a chance to win a Super Bowl title every year until he decides to call it quits.

Breech noted that Tom Brady can break several NFL records including the 6,300 career completions held by Brett Favre and rival Peyton Manning's 71,940 career passing yards and 539 career touchdown passes. He still needs 1,056 completed passes, 10,358 passing yards and 83 touch downs.

Tom Brady can break those three records in three seasons if he stays healthy and continues to defeat father time. However, the ultimate record that Brady could break is for the oldest player to start at quarterback.

The current record belongs to Steve DeBerg, who was 44 years and 279 days old in 1998 when he started for the Atlanta Falcons. DeBerg told Sports Illustrated that he believes Tom Brady will break his record. For Brady to break the record, he would need to start the Patriots' Week 1 game of the 2022 season.

But will Tom Brady really play until he is 45 years old? Every quarterback has succumbed to age and everyone knows Father Time eventually wins. However, Patriots owner Robert Kraft revealed in an interview with ESPN last month that Brady wants to play for six to seven more years.

"As recently as 2-3 days ago, he assured me he'd be willing to play six to seven more years and at the level he performed. There's no one that would be happier than I, and our fan base," Kraft said.

Tom Brady is already considered by many as the greatest quarterback of all time. If he can break all the records mentioned above and play until he is 45 years old, it will put his doubters on their place since he will cement his legacy as the greatest ever.
