The WWE is looking to build superstars for the future and they are apparently high on Baron Corbin. According to the latest rumors, "The Lone Wolf" is set to get a push later this year that could end with a WWE championship reign.

Baron Corbin is one of the top new stars by the WWE and he has the look of a future WWE world champion. He has improved quite a lot since being called up to the main roster in last year's WrestleMania wherein he won the 2016 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

"The Lone Wolf" has also put up great matches with superstars like A.J. Styles and Dolph Ziggler. He is one the top heels on SmackDown Live and he thrives in that role. Apparently, the WWE is high on him and they are set to give him a push.

According to Cageside Seats, top WWE officials really like what they are seeing on Baron Corbin. They are ready to make him a top superstar on SmackDown Live. He is reportedly going to get a top push later this year, possibly after SummerSlam.

One of the possible endings for his push is a WWE world title run and feuds with several top WWE superstars on the blue brand. He can win the title from Randy Orton to solidify his status while defending against the likes of Sami Zayn, A.J. Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura.

However, it should be noted that these are just rumors at the moment. Nothing has been confirmed but based on the way the WWE has booked Baron Corbin, he appears ready for a main event push. In a recent interview, Corbin stuck to his persona as he revealed that he has problems with everybody and he wants to be "The Guy."

"I have a problem with everybody in reality. I want to be the guy, so I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and go out there and do what needs to be done to win," Corbin told WDRB.
