LeBron James Hosting Miami Heat Teammates In Akron For Thanksgiving [VIDEO]

LeBron James is hosting all of his Miami Heat teammates for Thanksgiving dinner, according to ESPN.

The Heat will be in James' hometown of Ohio, where they face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, and the plan is for the team to stay over to celebrate the holiday at James' Akron home.

"We would have loved to have been here for the holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas being here in Miami," James told ESPN. "We don't mind playing on those holidays. Wish we could have been here, but I am happy that I'm able to do something for the team for Thanksgiving."

The website reports James has left no stone unturned in coordinating his big event, even going as far as telling the team to wear casual attire and taking specific beer requests from the likes of Shane Battier. James said his wife, Savannah, and his chef will split the cooking duties.

"We're not at home with our families for Thanksgiving, but it couldn't work out any better that at least we could be in someone else's home," said Dwyane Wade. "And it's a very nice home that we're going to, so I'll make sure I'll put on the right clothes and the right socks, gotta-take-your-shoes-off-at-the-door type of house.".

Added James "I'm a great host. It's natural for me. I don't mind giving guys what they want -- what they deserve."
