Michigan-Ohio State Rivalry: Much at Stake During Football Game, Including Free Cars (VIDEO)

The Michigan coach has an opportunity to make some lifetime friends on Saturday. All he has to do is coach his Spartans to a shutout victory over third-ranked Ohio State on Saturday in the Big House.

According to USA TODAY Sports, a car dealership in Monroe, Mich., is offering people a chance to win a car. Anyone who buys a car between Wednesday and game time will receive a full refund if the Wolverines shut out the Buckeyes.

Ohio State is a 14.5-point favorite, and USA TODAY Sports is reporting that the odds of the Wolverines shutting out the Buckeyes are nearly 0 percent.

The Victory Honda ad, which can be seen on its Facebook page, says "Saturday, November 30^th, these two teams will leave it all on the field and you can leave your wallet at home!

"Buy a brand-new Honda today through game day at Victory Honda and if the Maize and Blue shut out the Scarlet and Gray, you keep the car, on us!

That's right; if Michigan's favorite team claims its 27^th shutout victory, you keep the car for free!"

Ohio State has won 10 of the last 12 meetings and has scored at least 14 points in those dozen games. Michigan does own a 58-44-6 all-time series lead, but the Buckeyes have not scored fewer than 31 points in a game this season.

Michigan's defense has not pitched a shutout this season. It held Central Michigan to nine points in the season opener and gave up 13 points to the Minnesota Gophers. The Wolverines currently are ranked 52^nd in the nation in scoring defense, allowing 25.1 points per game.

The last time that Michigan shut out Ohio State was 20 years ago, a 13-0 victory in Ann Arbor, Mich.

No word as to whether Hoke intends to buy a car.
