Tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET, No. 22 UCLA (8-3, 5-3 Pac-12) and No.23 USC (9-3, 6-2 Pac-12) go head-to-head live from the Los Angeles Coliseum in California. The game can be live streamed here. UCLA fans can hear all of the action on 570 AM Fox Sports L.A. while USC fans can do the same on ESPN Radio 710 AM.
The Trojans should have receiver Marqise Lee back from a shin injury as they seek a sixth straight victory tonight. Ed Orgeron has led the team to a 6-1 record as the interim coach after Lane Kiffin was fired, and will look to improve on that mark against UCLA.
Lee has 604 receiving yards on 44 catches with two scores so far this season. The Trojans have done fine without him, with their latest win coming last Saturday when the team notched a 47-29 victory over Colorado in a game that saw running back Javorius Allen rush for 145 yards and three touchdowns to bring him to a total of 576 yards on the ground on 88 carries for 11 touchdowns.
UCLA coach Jim Mora knows not to take his competition lightly and he gave Orgeron credit for taking over and having an immediate influence on USC.
"He gave them a real spark," Mora said via ESPN. "When you come into a situation like that where you're an interim coach, the likelihood of being retained -- at least from the outside perception; who knows what's really going on over there -- it frees you up to really go after it. I voted for him for Pac-12 coach of the year. That's what kind of job I think he's done. I think he's very deserving of it."
The Bruins fell last week 38-33 to then-No. 19 Arizona State and will look to bounce back in a rivalry game, but USC knows it's just like any other game.
"We know that there is a lot more emphasis on this game just because of the rivalry and the tradition behind it," said USC quarterback Cody Kessler, according to ESPN. "But we're going to treat it just like any other week."
Kessler is 197-for-304 (64.8%) for 2,449 yards with 15 touchdowns and six interceptions thus far this season.
UCLA signal caller Brett Hundley will hope for some more protection after he was sacked nine times last week. On the season he is 214-for-315 (67.9%) for 2,637 yards with 22 touchdowns and nine interceptions and has rushed for 507 yards on 137 carries while reaching the end zone seven times.
"We cannot let Hundley run the ball or throw the ball deep," Orgeron said via ESPN. "We need to be great on coverage and great on our rush."
It's a big rivalry night when USC and UCLA go head-to-head at the Los Angeles Coliseum tonight.
