Missouri Tigers installed as +38 underdogs

In their SEC encounter on Saturday, the Missouri Tigers finally recorded their first win in conference play this season, beating the Vanderbilt Commodores, 37-28. It was a massive win for the Tigers, who moved back to .500 for the season with their 4-4 record.

Tyler Badie starred for the Tigers again, racking up 294 total yards and scoring two rushing touchdowns against Vanderbilt. Badie, who entered the contest with an SEC-best average of 143.6 all-purpose yards per game, wreaked havoc on the ground against Vanderbilt. He ran for 254 yards on 31 carries against the Commodores and caught nine passes for 40 yards.

Badie has now scored 11 rushing touchdowns this season. He has scored in every single game of Missouri this campaign. However, he will have his work cut out for him against a Georgia team that is second in the FBS in rushing defense, allowing just 75.6 yards per game on the ground this season.

Georgia Bulldogs enter Week 10 as -38 favorites

Georgia's sizzling start continued in Week 9 with an emphatic 34-7 victory over Kentucky at TIAA Bank Field. It was a significant result for the Bulldogs, who improved their season record to a perfect 8-0 slate. With the victory, Georgia maintained its No. 1 position in the AP Top 25 poll and grabbed the top spot in the first College Football Playoff rankings.

Leading the way for the Bulldogs in this contest was their impeccable defense. The Bulldogs dominated the Gators, scoring three touchdowns off Florida's miscues in a stunning 12-play sequence to seal the win. Florida's passing game failed to get going as well, recording just 194 yards through the air with no touchdowns and two interceptions.

Even though the Bulldogs gave up their fifth touchdown of the year in the win against Florida, Georgia remains the nation's leading defensive team. They have allowed an average of just 6.6 points per game this campaign.

The Bulldogs have now won 12 straight games since getting steamrolled by the Gators in Jacksonville a year ago. In that contest, Georgia looked out of sorts because of its injury-plagued defense, allowing 571 total yards against Florida. They made amends a year later, holding Florida scoreless through the first three quarters in their Week 9 clash.
