Two AFC teams will lock horns in this week's edition of Thursday Night Football as the reeling Miami Dolphins host the Baltimore Ravens at the Hard Rock Stadium. Can Lamar Jackson continue his stellar play in this Ravens vs Dolphins clash?

Baltimore Ravens enter Week 10 as -7 favorites

The Baltimore Ravens once again showed their never-say-die attitude, pulling off another thrilling comeback win in Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings. They fought back from a 14-point deficit early in the second half to register a 34-31 overtime victory over the Vikings. The Ravens have now won three games this season after trailing by double digits in the second half.

It was a huge win for the Ravens, who remained on top of the AFC North standings with a 6-2 slate. Baltimore's victory would not be possible without the heroics of Justin Tucker. He kicked a 36-yard field goal with 16 seconds remaining in overtime to seal the win for the Ravens. It was Tucker's 18th game-winning field goal in the NFL.

One guy who needs to step up for Baltimore in the Week 10 game against Miami is Lamar Jackson. He was outstanding once again in the win against the Vikings, passing for 266 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions. Jackson also ran for 120 yards on 21 carries to record his 10th 100-yard rushing game. That tied the regular-season record set by Michael Vick for quarterbacks.

Miami Dolphins installed as +7 underdogs

The Miami Dolphins finally snapped their seven-game losing skid with a 17-9 victory over the Houston Texans in Week 9. It was an ugly game to say the least with Miami and Houston combining for nine turnovers. That was to be expected, though, given both teams entered Sunday's clash with similar 1-7 records.

It was the most turnovers in an NFL game since the Kansas City Chiefs and the New York Jets also combined for nine turnovers on September 25, 2016. The Dolphins managed to pull off the win despite committing five turnovers. It was their first win while committing that many turnovers since October 18, 1990. The Dolphins had lost 21 such games since.

Jacoby Brissett did just enough to lead Miami to the win, completing 26 of 43 passes for 244 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. He was a surprise starter in this contest after quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was ruled out because of a fractured finger in his throwing hand.

Brissett might get the start again against the Ravens given the short week for the Dolphins. Head coach Brian Flores is not ruling out Tagovailoa, though, for that TNF showdown with the former Alabama standout set to throw on Monday to determine the state of his injury. Tagovailoa has already missed four games this season because of injury.

Will Fuller V still has not recovered from his thumb injury and will remain on injured reserve ahead of the game against the Ravens.

Writer's Prediction

Baltimore wins and covers the spread.
