The Phoenix Suns are set to play a pivotal Game 6 in the Western Conference semifinals against the Denver Nuggets, but unfortunately, they will have to do it without their star point guard, Chris Paul.
The 38-year-old has been sidelined since Game 2 due to a strained left groin, and despite ramping up his workouts in the last two days, he has not received a report on his progress that would indicate he is ready to play.

Suns' Chris Paul, Not Yet a Hundred Percent Fit
Suns coach Monty Williams confirmed that Paul has been doing more in his workouts but cautioned against assuming he is close to 100% fit.
Before Game 5, which the Suns lost 118-102 to trail 3-2 in the series, Paul engaged in a 40-minute on-court workout, during which he did shooting drills off the dribble and off handoff action, and also some running, backpedaling, and defensive slides.
Paul's workout after Wednesday's practice was more extensive and featured shooting drills on the move and off the dribble and attempts at sidestep 3-pointers.
He also worked with teammates Kevin Durant and T.J. Warren before continuing with an individual session conducted by assistant coach Jarrett Jack.
Paul, a 12-time All-Star, has been a key player for the Suns during these playoffs, averaging 12.4 points and 7.4 assists in seven games. His absence will be a major blow for the team as they look to keep their season alive and force a Game 7.
