During the final seconds of Game 2 of the 2023 NBA Finals, Jamal Murray had a chance to tie the game with the Denver Nuggets trailing by three.

Well-contested by Jimmy Butler, the 6-foot-4 guard missed a stepback three for the tie instead, giving Miami Heat the crucial road win.

The two-time MVP set the initial screen for Murray in the play, never asking for the ball once. As the shot rattled the rim, there was no visible disappointment in the body language of Jokic.

Draymond Green Gives Reason Why Nikola Jokic is a Great Leader

Warriors forward Draymond Green observed the sequence and noticed Jokic's body language after the missed shot.

He said that in most situations like that, many guys would drop their heads and slump their shoulders.

"Joker [Nikola Jokic] clapped his hands. But it was a clap like 'ah he barely missed.' It wasn't like 'I should've gotten the ball. Shoulders did not drop a centimeter," Green said.

The 33-year-old added that Jokic's confidence in his teammates is one of the reasons why they are in the NBA Finals because it makes everyone around the team better.

Green also stated that the right play would've been to pass the ball to Jokic, who was wide-open for a three.

But the anchor of the Warriors dynasty mentioned that Murray is also a big shot-taker and maker, noting that he got them back in the game with his multiple threes in crunch time.
