The 2023 NBA season's oldest team is said to be on the move to instill fresh young legs in its line-up.
Reporter Sam Verniece, in his latest NBA mock draft, revealed that several teams see this year's rookie aspirants as worth pursuing due to their NBA readiness. Among them is the Milwaukee Bucks which has great trade assets but lacks a high draft pick.

"Sources across the league have said Milwaukee, Phoenix, and Cleveland have explored potential opportunities to move up into the late 20s and 30s due to the depth of prospects on the wing and potential NBA-ready, older rotation players," Verniece wrote.
"Everyone explores deals this time of year, and you could probably write this sentence about any team. But those three do seem to be teams to watch."
The Bucks' youngest player is Marjob Beauchamp, who they acquired last year as the 24th overall pick. They were the oldest team in the league last year at 29.47 years old. Team superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is 28 years old.
Milwaukee will pick last in the 2023 draft happening on June 22. It had a first-round pick (30th) but is now with Los Angeles Clippers.
GM Jon Horst looking for trades
General Manager Jon Horst is not hiding his desire to acquire a good draft prospect making this report by Verniece more possible.
"We obviously possess a pick at the end of the second round," the 2019 NBA Executive of the Year told Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
"We have to be ready for that. But also, the trades and things that happen from a personnel, an NBA personnel standpoint, be ready for that."
