Nikola Jokic may arguably be the best basketball player in the world right now, but his main job is to become the best dad to his girl.
That's what he at least showed in the last few days since the Denver Nuggets won the NBA 2023 season against the Miami Heat in five games, the first for the Nuggets franchise.
Several photos and videos are making the rounds on social media sites related to the Nuggets Championship parade, and fans cannot help but gush over Jokic's affection for his daughter Ognjena who was also at the team bus strolling throughout the Denver roads.

While his relationship with his wife, Natalija Mačešić, was kept away from the spotlight ever since he became an NBA player, Jokic made it known that his priority is his family.
He does this in simple but meaningful ways, like tying his wedding ring to his shoe and dapping up his baby girl before the game.
He even surprised fans when asked whether he was looking forward to the traditional championship parade by saying, "No, I need to go home."

Jokic is one who is not really fond of the spotlight. Every offseason, he returns to his home country, Serbia, and to the family farm and tends to horses that he loves caring for.
He was in the stable when he received his second MVP award in 2022.
As for his family, he loves living a normal life with them, unlike other players.
"I think all of us who have a wife and kids should be happy with the persons we have beside us," the NBA champion said in an interview with a local Serbian channel. "When you have a normal life, it lifts you up and only helps you."
