Strolling inside a mall should be a relaxing activity, but it did not feel like that for UFC star Alex Pereira when he tried to walk around Walmart.

Poatan shared on social media a clip of him walking around inside America's most popular mall, wherein he claims an employee is following him for no reason.

Speaking in Spanish, Pereira explained his situation while also showing the said employee walking "innocently."

"I'm here at Walmart, and some guys are following me around, man. Get away from me, man," the Brazilian MMA fighter said.

"Watch this. I'm going to make a turn here. See?"

Pereira moved a little to show the man tailing him, and he was still there.

These employees are called "Walkers" and are hired by the company to act as guard dogs against potential shoplifters. However, over the years, complaints of racial profiling have been thrown at them.

Rivals turned friends?

Internet users feasted on the employee for not knowing whom he was tailing. They are in consensus that he would be in the hospital had the incident gotten worse.

Pereira is called Poatan or "Stone Hand" in English for a reason.

Among those who joined the roasting was his former UFC rival Israel Adesanya.

The Stylebender thought it would be fun if the employee tried to test Pereira.

This comment by Adesanya amused fans since the two are just fresh off their two successive octagon fights. Pereira won the first bout in November 2022, while Adesanya took the victory in April 2023 via K.O.
