Lakers insider Dan Woike revealed a hilarious story about what transpired between Malik Beasley's son Makai Joseph and star big man Anthony Davis in the locker room.

Woike, the franchise's beat writer for the Los Angeles Times, shared that Makai Joseph nearly ate a piece of ice off the foot bucket of Davis.

"I'll never forget the time Malik Beasley's kid came into the locker room, took a piece of ice out AD's foot bucket and went to eat it while everyone in the room yelled 'Noooooooooooooooooooooo,'" Woike tweeted.

Thankfully, the team prevented the younger Beasley from doing the nasty thing.

"He didn't eat the ice, another reminder that it truly takes a village," Woike added.

Beasley was acquired by the Lakers from the Utah Jazz in February 2023 in a three-team trade that saw the purple-and-gold franchise let go of Russell Westbrook. The franchise declined their team option on the 6-foot-4 wing last Thursday, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Malik Beasley Signs With Eastern Conference Contender

Beasley signed a one-year deal with the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night, per Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

The 26-year-old will add firepower for Milwaukee this season as they look to bounce back from being eliminated as the first seed by the eighth-seeded Miami Heat in the first round.

Beasley led the league in three-pointers made off the bench last season. The deal is a minimum contract worth $2.7 million for the 2023-24 season, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
