Moving to Saudi Arabia to play for its top professional football league should be an easy decision for some, given how attractive the deals its clubs are offering.

Tottenham Hotspur mainstay Son Heung-min feels the same way.

He recognizes that financial benefits are important when planning a career but insists that money is not everything for him.

"I love playing football. Obviously, money is also important but I dream for playing (in the) Premier League," Son said during a press conference in Australia, where they are set to participate in a pre-season match.

The 31-year-old still recognized that moving to Saudi is interesting, but the English top-flight league is heavily favored by his heart since it is his dream competition.

The exodus to Saudi Arabia has been a hot issue in recent months, with many players already there, accepting deals that reports say majorly upgraded their salaries from the Premier League even if they are already past their peak.

England legends even had a heated exchange over the matter, while Gary Neville called for the league to take action over the loss of players to the Arabian league.

Son's reaction to Spurs' new manager

Tottenham hopes to turn a new leaf this season, hiring a new manager, Ange Postecoglou, from Scottish giants Celtic FC.

Son expressed excitement about being under Postecoglou, explaining that he has always followed the manager's former club.

"When he was announced as manager, I was really happy about it, because obviously we follow the Scottish league and Celtic was dominating the league," he said.
