Ndamukong Suh Dirty Plays [VIDEO]: Eagles Kicker Alex Henery Supports Suh, 'He's A Real Nice Guy'

While the perception to many around the league is that Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is a "dirty player," he has one supporter on the opposing team this Sunday--Philadelphia Eagles kicker Alex Henery--who said that the Lions troublemaker is "a very nice guy."

According to The Detroit Free Press, Henery, a former teammate and fellow construction manager at Nebraska with Suh, said that he respects Suh and believes he is a good person.

"He's a good guy," Henery told the Philadelphia Daily News about Suh. "Those incidents - how I know him, that's not how he really is. I see him when I go back in the off-season. He's a real nice guy. Smart guy."

Henery, though, admitted that for Suh, who has been fined eight times and suspended for two games throughout his NFL career, being a nice guy doesn't transfer over onto the field when Suh is playing defense for Detroit.

"He's just a real aggressive guy. ... I don't know if there's intent, or if he's just playing hard," he told the paper. "In college, he was so much bigger, faster and quicker than everyone. He was always a step ahead. Guys were always struggling to block him. I wouldn't say he was dirty in college."

Suh recently said he was hoping to change his image throughout the league as his reputation has gone south ever since he stomped on Green Bay Packers center Evan Dietrich-Smith two years ago and received a two-game suspension.

"It's obviously tainted me and given me a bad rep, and well-deserved in that instance, but I don't think one moment in somebody's life is going to define them," Suh said during an appearance on XM NFL Radio, according to CBS Sports. "I've vowed, not only to myself personally, but to my family and my teammates and coaches not to have that happen again and not have situations like that that's going to hurt them or make them feel that they can't be proud of me or want me as a teammate."

Suh at least has one supporter on the opposing side of the line of scrimmage when the Eagles (7-5) host the Lions (7-5) this Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia.
