Stephen Curry is already the greatest shooter of all time. Thus, television personality Willie Geist asked him about his GOAT shooter aside from himself in an appearance by the Golden State Warriors superstar on Today on NBC.

The only unanimous MVP in NBA history named Ray Allen as the greatest shooter of all time if he is not included in the mix.

"I'd say Ray Allen. I think his form, his dedication to his craft, hit big shots in his career," Curry said.

The 2022 NBA Finals MVP's answer is certainly not a surprise, as Allen held the NBA record for most three-pointers made in the regular season from 2011 until Curry surpassed the number in December 2021.

Allen's 2,973 three-pointers made still rank as the second-most ever in the regular season.

Allen also held the record for most-three pointers made in the playoffs upon his retirement with 285. It has been surpassed by Curry, Klay Thompson, LeBron James, and James Harden over the last few years.

Curry names toughest defenders

In the same interview, the four-time champion listed down three of the toughest defenders he has ever faced: Jrue Holiday, Tony Allen, and Ron Artest.

Curry faced Holiday twice in the playoffs in 2015 and 2018 against the New Orleans Pelicans and Allen during the 2015 Western Conference Semifinals opposite the Memphis Grizzlies.

The 35-year-old admitted that he did not face a lot of games with Artest, but he noted his strong hands that tap away the ball ferociously.
