The Tennessee Titans took matters into their own hands to restore harmony in the team by releasing offensive lineman Jamarco Jones, who was involved in multiple altercations in training camp this week.

The team's statement on its website said that Jones was involved in practice field incidents in back-to-back sessions, including a block that led to his early departure. It also nearly sparked a brawl with irate defensive players.
The 27-year-old committed his second offense on Thursday, committing a crackback block on linebacker Chance Campbell. Azeez Al-Shaair, a fellow linebacker, got into Jones' face in retaliation for his teammate, and both parties had to be separated.
"We don't want to practice like that. We talk all the time about being competitive and going to that line, and certainly not going to do anything that hurts the team. We don't want to see that," Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said.
The 47-year-old also mentioned that the block would have been a penalty in an actual game.

The first offense happened on Tuesday
Jones' first altercation happened on Tuesday when he was involved in a pushing match with two-time Pro Bowl selection Jeffery Simmons.
The skirmish happened after one of the first plays during a team period, and they were separated and kicked out of practice after yanking each other's helmets, per ESPN.
