Their opponent will be the No. 10 Michigan State Spartans (11-1, 8-0) who are also undefeated in the conference thanks to a stellar defense. A win in this game doesn't necessarily guarantee Ohio State a title game berth, an undefeated regular season led by Urban Meyer will be difficult to ignore. Meyer is making sure his team doesn't get overconfident though, and look past a rugged Spartans team.
"Our focus is on this game and that's it," Meyer said. "It'd be a disservice to our players if I went and worried about it. We have to move the ball against a great defense, and that's my focus."
The Spartans Rose Bowl fate may rest in the outcome of this showdown, but they still might get that game even if they lose.
