Kurt Angle will always be remembered as the professional wrestler who practically did it all. This is why the 54-year-old was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016.

Although most see wrestling entertainment as scripted and relying on storylines, the reality of it all is that one has to be at his utmost best to perform stunts in the ring. Angle had his share of these rigors, which has taken its toll on the 1996 Olympian's body.

Most know Kurt Angle's journey, particularly when he broke his neck. The former WWE champion revealed that he is due for a fourth neck surgery, admitting he is paying the price for wrestling when he spoke to Chris Van Vliet.

"I still have another neck, the same surgery coming up. That will be my fourth neck surgery. I really paid the price wrestling as long as I did," the WWE and TNA Hall of Famer said.

Aside from his neck, Angle also had his knees replaced about a year ago. In all, his body is paying the price for those years of performing. Now, he looks back and ponders possibly retiring earlier during his wrestling career to spend more quality time with his family - especially his kids.

"I can't really do anything with them. I can't pick them up. I can't play with them. I can't run with them. So it's a little disgruntling that I'm not able to be the father that I want to be," Angle stated in the same talk.

The last time Kurt Angle was seen in the ring was last January on "Raw is XXX," where he served as a guest referee in a six-man tag team match. Beyond that, it remains unknown if the WWE icon will ever return to the ring and participate in future matches.
