Lolo Jones Bobsled Comeback: Jones' Team Ties for Second in World Cup Follow-Up Race in Utah [VIDEO]

Lolo Jones proved Saturday she has plenty of fight left.

One day after sitting out a World Cup race in Park City, Utah, Jones served as push athlete for driver Jamie Greubel, and the team tied for second in Saturday's World Cup competition.

For the second straight day, the team of driver Elana Meyers and push athlete Aja Evans finished first. Jones and Greubel tied with the team of driver Jazmine Fenlator and Lauryn Williams, USA TODAY Sports reported Saturday.

The U.S. bobsled team coaches are trying to find the right combination of drivers and push athletes as they get ready for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, in February. The U.S. is hopeful of qualifying three teams for the Games.

Jones team with Fenlator last week in a race in Calgary, Alberta, and the team finished a disappointing 15th. Emily Azevedo replaced Jones in Friday's race in Park City and teamed with Fenlator to capture a fourth-place result.

According to USA TODAY Sports, two of the teams appear to be set. Meyers and Evans won both races in Park City and finished second last week in Calgary. Greubel and push athlete Katie Eberling had a third-place finish Friday and one in Calgary.

The competition could be among Jones, Azevedo and Williams as the last push athlete to pair with Fenlator.

"We have a great group of athletes and we want to find out where people stand earlier in the season so we can dial in later in the season and give everyone an opportunity to race," USA TODAY Sports reported Fenlator as saying.

The report indicated that Jones finished behind Evans, Eberling, Williams and Azevedo at the national push championships in August.

USA TODAY Sports added that Jones is scheduled to travel overseas after Christmas for the European portion of the World Cup circuit which leads into the Sochi Olympics. The team will be announced after the World Cup race in Igles, Austria on Jan. 19.
