Born into a family with athletic prowess, USC Trojans freshman guard Bronny James may have the mental and physical capabilities to play other sports besides basketball.

The eldest son of NBA legend and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James narrated during the USC Trojans men's football game on Saturday about what position he would be in if he played football.

"I would probably play like QB. I got a good arm man. I can read the defense and stuff. I'd probably play QB," the 18-year-old said.

James proceeded to show a glimpse of his football passing skills by throwing a shirt onto the USC crowd in the form of a quarterback.

The Trojans dominated the Nevada Wolf Pack during the game, 66-14, courtesy of five touchdown passes by reigning Heisman Trophy winner quarterback Caleb Williams.

LeBron James nearly made it into the NFL

Meanwhile, LeBron James had the chance to play in the NFL during the 2011 NBA lockout.

The NBA's all-time leading scorer previously revealed that both Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll offered him an NFL contract during the NBA's work stoppage 12 years ago.

The lockout, which ran from July to December 2011, would have made it possible for James to play in the majority of the 2011 NFL season had he decided to sign among one of the 32 teams in the league.

NFL great Peyton Manning, who was conducting the interview, said he would have thrown so many touchdowns to the four-time NBA champion.
