Khloe Kardashian is standing up for her wayward NBA husband Lamar Odom, according to CelebrityLaundry.com.
The website reports that after recently learning Odom had been excluded from the invite list for her mother's Beverly Hills Polo Club-based birthday party, the reality TV star informed her mom and manager that if Odom couldn't attend she wouldn't be either.
CelebrityLaundry adds Kris Jenner heralded the party as being just for family and friends and freaked out when her daughter informed her that she planned to bring Odom. With Kardashian fighting to save her four-year marriage and reportedly attending couple's counseling with her husband, The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star balked to the point of prompting her mom to cave on her demands.
After a summer of discord brought on by widespread reports of Odom's hardcore drug use and chronic infidelity, one of Hollywood's most high-profile couples has recently been rumored to be attempting to reconcile.
The two were recently spotted attending a Kanye West concert at L.A. Staples center together and Odom has recently persisted in his claims that he is now drug free.
Presently an NBA free agent, Odom also recently met with his old team the L.A. Clippers and is rumored to be close to rejoining the team.
