"The more beautiful the serpent, the more fatal its sting," Khloe Kardashian posted on Instagram late last week, prompting many to wonder if the reality TV starlet was again undergoing struggles with NBA husband Lamar Odom.
According to Wetpaint.com, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star began a series of poignant posts with the quote: "Dear Human: You've got it all wrong. You didn't come here to master unconditional love. That is where you came from and where you'll return. You came here to learn personal love. Universal love. Messy love. Sweaty love. Crazy love. Broken love. Whole love. Infused with divinity. Lived through the grace of struggling. Demonstrated though the beauty of... messing up. Often."
The quote seems an apt description of Odom and Kardashian's four-year union, particularly this past summer when the 34-year-old Odom was dogged by constant rumors about his alleged drug addiction and chronic cheating.
At least three women publicly came forward to claim they had engaged in affairs with the former NBA Sixth Man of the Year award winner and he also still faces an open DUI case that could result in jail time.
More recently the couple has been rumored to be trying to mend their relationship by attending couple's counseling together. In late October, for the first time in weeks the two were spotted out in public together attending a Kanye West concert at L.A.'s Staples Center.
