New York Jets legend Joe Namath, who led the franchise to their only Super Bowl victory in 1969, is not a big fan of the team's current starting quarterback, Zach Wilson.
The 80-year-old former player appeared at The Michael Kay Show to talk about the team's recent game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, September 24, which resulted in a 15-10 loss for the green and white.
Namath claimed he did not take anything positive from the loss, blasting his former team's "awful" performance at the MetLife Stadium.
"I wouldn't keep him. I've seen enough of Zach Wilson. I've seen enough. Has quick feet. Can throw a little bit. But I don't believe what's going up there [in his head]," the Pro Football Hall of Famer said when asked about Wilson.
The Super Bowl III MVP further emphasized that the team needs to make major changes from top to bottom.

Zach Wilson's forgettable night
Wilson's performance in the loss was underwhelming, completing 18 of 36 passes for 157 yards. Most of his yardage came from a single 87-yard touchdown drive in the second half.
However, the 24-year-old made several crucial errors during the game, including a costly sack in the end zone that resulted in a safety and a futile short pass on a fourth-and-10 attempt.
