Logan Webb is having a good MLB season thus far with the San Francisco Giants, a reason why he is among the favorites to win the National League Cy Young award.
And while that would be fulfilling for the 26-year-old pitcher, the reality is that the Giants are on the verge of getting eliminated, and the situation has frustrated Logan Webb.
The native of California spoke to Alex Pavlovic of the NBC Sports Bay Area and vented his frustrations on his current predicament. Webb emphasized the importance of winning and how he is already tired of losing.

"To be honest with you, winning is more important," Webb stated. "If we don't do that, then it's kind of a waste. That's my goal. I'm tired of losing. It's not enjoyable. It's not fun. We've got to make some big changes in here to create that winning culture, that we want to show up every year and try to win the whole thing."
Battle of MLB best pitchers
The SF Giants pulled off a win over the San Diego Padres, 2-1, on Monday, September 25. It was a battle of the league's two best pitchers, with Webb getting one over the Padres' Blake Snell, SI.com reported.
The win allowed the Giants to move ahead of the Padres for the first time since May 16. Although it has been an erratic run for San Francisco, they get some consolation by being ahead of the Padres.
San Francisco is not yet officially eliminated from the MLB playoffs. Unfortunately, their remaining games may not alter their chances compared to other Wild Card hopefuls.
