The New York Jets have taken steps to improve their dismal showing for the past two games, both losses against the Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots.
Amid massive criticism of their starting quarterback Zach Wilson, the team has signed veteran Trevor Siemian to their practice squad.

The 31-year-old spent the 2022 NFL season with the Chicago Bears, wherein he appeared in two games and completed 15 of 26 passes for 184 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
Siemian previously played for the Jets, signing with the team in March 2019.
He made his first appearance for the Green & White as a starter in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns in September of that year after then-starter Sam Darnold was out with mononucleosis.
However, Siemian's season ended in the same game after suffering an ankle injury in the second quarter from a hit by Browns defensive end Myles Garrett.
Jets make Zach Wilson decision
Despite multiple figures blasting Wilson, including franchise legend Joe Namath, he is still set to make his third consecutive start for the Jets in their upcoming game against the defending Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs on the evening of Sunday, October 1.
Tim Boyle served as the 24-year-old's backup during the team's Week 2 and Week 3 losses to the Cowboys and the Patriots.
