The Minnesota Vikings are off to a poor start this 2023-24 NFL season, so it is no surprise that NFL trade rumors are in the air.

However, receiver Justin Jefferson feels that it is way too early to pass judgment on the Vikings and insinuate that there will be players who should be traded to stock on future draft picks, ESPN reported.

The 2022 NFL Offensive Player of the Year has grown tired of this talk and stressed that despite being winless, they remain focused on the current NFL season when he spoke from the TCO Performance Center ahead of Week 4 via the Minnesota Vikings YouTube channel.

"I'm tired of people saying that we're looking into next season or all of the trades and stuff like that. We're focused still on this season. We have a lot more games to go and we have a lot more things to accomplish this season. We're still focused in, and we still have the same goal as we had before the season. We just need to fix a few things and I feel like we'll be back on track," Jefferson rued.

Key Vikings players in trade talks

Several key players are being mentioned as likely moving out as the franchise goes on a competitive rebuild. That list includes quarterback Kirk Cousins, linebacker Danielle Hunter, and even Jefferson, per NFL.com.

The Viking's winless run may end on Sunday, October 1, as they face the Carolina Panthers in a battle of two winless NFL teams at the Bank of America Stadium.

The good news for Minnesota is that they are picked as favorites (-3.5) to prevail over the Panthers, per Fox Sports.
