While Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George still has plenty of basketball left to play, he already has thoughts about how he envisions the conclusion of his career.
The 33-year-old spoke to reporters during the first day of their training camp in Hawaii on Wednesday, October 4.
When questioned about the prospect of retiring as a member of the Clippers, George provided an intriguing and thoughtful response.

“If it’s up to me, absolutely. I’m back home with a great organization. An organization that believes in winning and does everything it can to win… It’d be a dream.”

George made his way to Los Angeles in the summer of 2019 following a trade from the Oklahoma City Thunder.
This move came after Kawhi Leonard, a free agent at the time, insisted that the Clippers acquire George to secure his signing with the team.

Paul George, Clippers discussing contract extension
The former Fresno State standout revealed that he has discussed a potential contract extension with the Clippers front office.
However, as of now, neither side is close to finalizing an agreement.
"It's active, but both sides have to be on the same page and that's just what we're trying to figure out," the 2019 All-NBA First Team said.
