Francis Ngannou Gets Real on Chances Ahead of Tyson Fury Clash

The Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou fight date is set for October 28 in Saudi Arabia, and "The Predator" knows he needs to be careful when he battles "The Gypsy King."

Most of Francis Ngannou's losses were dealt in the cage. But given the huge odds against Fury, his first one in the boxing ring is looming large.

One thing going for the 37-year-old Cameroonian is that former boxing heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is training him. Add to the fact that he believes anything is possible should somehow uplift his spirit against Tyson Luke Fury.

"I really believe that everything is possible. And let me tell you something, from where I came from, everything that I have done, nobody believed in me," the mixed martial artist said to Carl Frampton on "The Face-Off" on TNT Sports.

Then there is Tyson, someone whom Ngannou has looked up to ever since. He realized his dream of working with the Hall of Famer and shared how he treats his upcoming non-title clash against Fury from an "Iron Mike" perspective via Boxingscene.

"I have always looked at this fight in the point of view of Mike Tyson. I'm the smallest guy inside which is not something that has happened very often. So, I know that I need some techniques from somebody that has been in the smallest size and nobody better than Mike Tyson."

Tyson Fury's plans after Ngannou

Win or lose, Tyson Fury has no plans of slowing down. He is already contractually committed to face Oleksandr Usky for the undisputed heavyweight championship that is tentatively set for December 23 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, ESPN reported.

"I'm looking to sign another 10-fight deal after this, so I don't know, I'm going to put my feelers out there and see who I can get the best deal off for another 10 fights," the 35-year-old boxing champion said.
