Life after MLB is in the Middle East and South Asia for Robinson Canó, Bartolo Colon, and other former notable players.

Baseball United, a Middle Eastern league set to have its debut season come winter, will be graced by several former MLB All-Stars after conducting a draft night over the weekend.
The most notable are Robinson Canó and Bartolo Colón, who reached All-Star level in America's top baseball league.
Canó, 41, is an eight-time All-Star, a level he reached at least once when he played for the New York Yankees and the Seattle Mariners. He also played for the New York Mets and the Atlanta Braves.

He was selected sixth overall to the Dubai Wolves.
Colón, 50, was drafted 16th overall by India-based Karachi Monarchs. He played in four All-Star Games, having played for more than 10 MLB teams.
If he sees regular minutes for Karachi, Colón will match Jack Quinn's record of the oldest player to play regularly in a pro baseball league. The oldest player to play in MLB was Satchel Paige at 59 years old.
Other notable names in Baseball United
Karan Patel, 26, was picked by Mumbai as its first overall pick. He was the first Indian selected in the MBL amateur draft, chosen by the Chicago White Sox.
Steven Moya, once a Detroit Tiger, was selected second overall by the Monarchs.
Former Philadelphia Phillies and Arizona Diamondbacks shortstop Didi Gregorius will also strut his wares in the Middle East after being picked third overall by the Dubai Wolves.
Investors of the league are notable former MLB players, too. Among them are Hall of Famers Mariano Rivera and Barry Larkin.
Rivera is a five-time World Series Champion and a 13-time All-Star, while Larkin won the World Series once and graced the All-Star 12 times.
