The Milwaukee Bucks were listless against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday, trailing the entire game by double digits until the final buzzer.

The Bucks tried to make a push in the fourth, but the Raptors still outscored them to finish the game at 130-11.

Damian Lillard, acquired a few weeks before the start of the season, is the type who will take over a game. Dame Time, as fans call it.

He refused to do that, though, during their struggle against the Raptors, reasoning there is a process he needs to submit to.

"I want to accept the process of this happening," he explained.

"And you know, Giannis is probably feeling the same way and Khris is probably feeling the same way. We want to show trust and not just go back to something that's not sustainable. And I think because of that sometimes it can get ugly."

Giannis Antetokounmpo blames miscommunication

The team is under a new coaching staff and system and just acquired a new Robin to the Greek Freak's Batman. It could be growing pains.

However, Antetokounmpo believes the Raptors' loss could have been avoided if there was better communication between the team members - from the hardwood to the bench.

"So you got to have a tough conversation between players to players, coaches to coaches, between players and coaches, coaches to players," he told The Athletic's Eric Nehm.

"You just have tough conversations. We got to keep that conversation going because if you just keep and turn to yourself and don't speak your mind, it's not going to work."
