With an overhauled offense, there is no question that the Baltimore Ravens are legitimate Super Bowl contenders. Better yet, Ravens' Lamar Jackson is showing glimpses of his 2019 MVP self, which is likely to increase the odds of that from happening.

The Ravens are coming off a 37-3 demolition job of the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, November 5, CBS Sports reported. They sport a 7-2 win-loss record, and their win over the Seahawks is not the only lopsided victory they have had this NFL season.

Jackson provided an intelligent answer to reporters that can back up this drive.

"We're treating every game like a championship game until we're finally there," the two-time Pro Bowler said.

Offseason overhaul showing results

After years of being branded as an average team, the offseason overhaul of the Ravens is paying off.

They overhauled their offense, coaching staff, and roster, and the effort has resulted in them being Super Bowl contenders again. Todd Monken is now calling the shots after Baltimore decided to move on from Greg Roman.

Monken is known for his air-raid offense out of shotgun formations, and this was a huge change compared to the run-it-down-your-throat tactics of Roman.

And one of the beneficiaries so far is Jackson. It has been showing in the stat sheet; something pointed out by Sarah Ellison, co-host of Ravens Vault.

"Jackson has minimized mistakes, improved as a passer, kept a lot of what people liked about him as a runner and made enough big plays to win each week," Bill Barnwell of ESPN said on the performance of Jackson this 2023-24 season.

With dominant wins against the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, and the Seahawks, the Ravens are now given decent odds of winning the AFC North and possibly the Super Bowl.

Baltimore is given a +850 chance of winning the Super Bowl and a -150 odds of winning the AFC North per OddsSharks.com.

Next up for the Ravens is the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday, November 16. This matchup will be a true test for Baltimore, entering the game as -175 underdogs per USA Today.
