Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray will be sidelined for the rest of November due to a lingering hamstring injury, according to league insider Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

It is expected that Murray will require three to four weeks for a complete recovery before he can return to play.

The 26-year-old sustained the injury during their home game against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday, November 4. He subsequently missed the Nuggets' last game against the New Orleans Pelicans at home this past Monday, November 6.

The Nuggets are adopting a cautious approach to ensure Murray will have no persistent problems with the hamstring.

"This will be something that will be longer than we would like. You have to have the big picture in mind and make sure we're putting him in position to get healthy before he comes back," Nuggets head coach Mike Malone said earlier this week.

Regarded as one of the best playoff performers in the league, Murray is gunning for his first NBA All-Star Game appearance this season.

Nikola Jokic confident about the team

Despite missing one of the team's vital pieces, two-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic is confident they can navigate their upcoming games.

"If we miss a guy, we have guys that can step in and get the job done. And our system is good because everyone that we put on the court can play," the reigning NBA Finals MVP said.

Veteran guard Reggie Jackson will be starting in the place of the injured Canadian in the meantime.
