The Dolphins vs. Jets Week 15 match is about redemption.

The Miami Dolphins will try to recover from an embarrassing loss to the Tennessee Titans that saw the most improbable upset this 2023 season and in the history of the National Football League.

The Titans are only the fourth team to get a win when down by at least 14 points in under three minutes.

On the other end, Jets' quarterback Zach Wilson will continue his redemption journey after an impressive performance in the win against the Houston Texans last week.

Was last week's loss by the Dolphins just an upset or an omen for a bad arc?

The game will kick off at 1:00 P.M. EST at the Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday, December 17.

Dolphins vs. Jets Week 15 Preview

Jets quarterback Zach Wilson had his best game against the Houston Texans last week. He passed 301 yards and converted two touchdowns.

Before that, he was benched for two straight games, including the one against the Dolphins.

Coach Robert Saleh believes Wilson will continue his stellar plays.

"He has confidence in his ability, confidence in his teammates and confidence in the coaches," Saleh said.

"He has the ability to take a game over when he's clicking. In my mind, he needs to have continued confidence and swag, and play with a let it rip mentality."

Wilson's counterpart at the Dolphins is Tua Tagovailoa, who leads the league in passing yards. While they are disappointed with last week's loss, he calls on his teammates to be less emotional to handle the Jets game.

The Dolphins vs. Jets Week 15 game is a division rivalry, but Tua insists that all his squad needs to think about is themselves and their system that has been working since the start of the season.

"We don't want to come into the game thinking we need to do this, we need to do that," he said.

"We just need to play within the rules and principles of what that play entails for us to do."

They have big shoes to fill, though, as MVP candidate Tyreek Hill will be out due to an ankle sprain.

The Jets are also dealing with injuries to key players all season long, like main QB Aaron Rodgers, wider receiver Jason Brownlee, and offensive lineman Joe Tippmann.

Dolphins vs. Jets Week 15 Pick

Dolphins can cover the spread this time to raise their record to 5-2. They are too good to suffer two straight upsets.

Final score prediction: 29-13, Dolphins.
