The Raiders defeated the Broncos 27-14.

The Las Vegas Raiders have officially named Antonio Pierce as the team's new full-time head coach, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Pierce served as the team's interim head coach beginning on October 31 after the team moved on from Josh McDaniels after a disappointing start to the season.

Following Pierce's promotion, the Raiders began to play at a higher level and with more energy, beating the Giants and Jets in Pierce's first two games before a stunning upset of the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day on the road.

Following the conclusion of the season, members of the Raiders' core including running back Josh Jacobs and star edge rusher Maxx Crosby vocalized support for giving Pierce the full-time job.

The Raiders finished the season with a record of 8-9, which was good for second place in an AFC West that was down this past season.

Las Vegas owns the 13th overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, and is expected to spend the offseason searching for a long-term solution at quarterback.
